Let me introduce you to my little friend

I don't know how many of you have your own personal laminator. I have one and I LOVE it.

I found this little lovely at Costco and it has been one of my favorite teaching tools for the last couple of years. It was under $20 and is made by Purple Cows. One of the things I didn't like when I first started laminating at home was the cost of lamination. I hated paying $20 for 20 sheets and rarely did. After all, I bought the laminator WITH lamination for under what 20 sheets cost. That was until I discovered Shoplet.com. I now buy all my lamination from them (this is my personal opinion I am not receiving any compensation).

This box of 100 lamination sheets cost $10 AND the shipping was free, yes I did say free. I prefer laminating at home for many reasons. The two most important reasons are these, I love the convenience and the lamination is thicker which means more durable and is easier for my Cubs to erase after using.

I have been working on a couple of little things to share, I will be posting within the next two days with a couple of freebies.

  1. Hi Mrs. Katzman! Thanks for your response to my enchanted forest blog post. I ended up revamping the stuff I've made so far and I put my word wall alphabet up for free at TPT. Here it is:

I don't LOVE it, but it's ok for now. I always use more than one alphabet anyway, so I'll probably make another one. Let me know how your forest preparations go over the summer! I'm finding that the theme lends itself to more muted colors, and that's hard to work with sometimes. Brighter always seems more fun. Let me know how it's going for you!
